We had a field trip at the fire station today!!! The kids got a tour of the new fire station and learned a lot about fire safety. Dallin was able to wear one of their hats. Inside of his hat there was a picture of the fire fighter's family which was neat to see.

Dallin was so funny-one of the fire fighters asked, "What do you do if you are on fire?". He almost got it right-he said, "Drop and roll". The kids thought that the whole Darth Vader breathing was cool. Poor guy had stay in the hot suit until we all get our pictures taken.
They even got to ring the bell in the truck!
Here is part of the preschool group sporting the fire fighters hats.I must say that we are so fortunate. At a drop of a second we have medical help, law-in-forcement, fire fighters, and more ready to help. They do more than we realize. I probably don't say thank you enough to my father-in-law, mother-in-law, cousin, my uncle, and everyone else that are in this line of work. Hopefully we don't need any help from anyone in that line of work but I know IF we do, we will be taken care of.
